The Position:

We are looking for a dynamic, sales leader to become our next Director of Inside Sales. This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to provide direction and oversight to a team of Sales Representatives (and possible third parties). The Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of our Renewal, Retention, & Cross-Sell operation to ensure we are meeting sales targets.

Your Challenge:

  • Maintain a solid renewal team that exceeds sales goals.
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily dial & talk time goals by utilizing available tools including Saleforce and the phone system.
  • Evaluate and improve renewal sales and sales administration process.
  • Suggest improvements that can be made to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in Salesforce system.
  • Provide data quality checks weekly.
  • Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats.
  • Supervise team in accordance with Company policies & procedures.
  • Provide coaching for existing reps and training for new reps.
  • Schedule and lead department staff meetings, development workshops and functions.
  • Conduct employee interviews, onboard training/set-up, and hire/terminate staff.
  • Manage performance reviews and employee development plans.
  • Resolve interpersonal issues within department and escalate if required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • At least 5 years’ sales experience (Minimum 2 of which are in a B2B environment).
    • You have proven experience increasing year-over-year revenue and have developed an uncanny ability to forecast accurately.
  • 3-5 years of proven sales management experience in a fast-growing SaaS company.
    • You can demonstrate that you’ve previously built scalable processes and implemented strategies that have successfully grown a sales team and that people you’ve coached and developed have gone on to achieve further success.
  • Significant experience selling into small to mid-market level companies.
  • Customer relationship management experience (Salesforce).
  • Experience in a Cyber Security environment a plus.
